AMA Guides Sixth Edition Goes Digital

The American Medical Association (AMA) put their Sixth Edition of the AMA Guides in digital format.

The AMA Guides is used to rate impairment in many workers' compensation systems in the United States.

Some states mandidate the use of the AMA Guides, Sixth Edition in determining impairment ratings.  Some also have made it mandatory that most recent version become mandated.

California has mandated the use of the Fifth Edition in the last workers' compensation reform, SB 863.  The Fifth Edition has been in digital form for years.
