Cal Fire is fighting a new fire in Siskiyou County

A fire started in Northern California caused mandatory evacuations for over 5,000 residents in Weed, Lake Shastina, and Edgewood located in Siskiyou County.

Cal Fire has been fighting the fire which spread 500 acres in around an hour.

This fire has been labeled the Mill fire.
