Sheriff Deputies Exposed to Fentanyl

A press release from Douglas County Sheriff's Office announced Friday that deputies arrested two suspects after a five-month drug investigation involving Regina Rojas from Rancho Cordova and Jessica Thomas from Sacramento.

The drug arrest included trafficking of fentanyl, herion and meth.

Five deputies were exposed to fentanyl and were hospitalized for exposure symptoms.
